National Gallery Singapore x Curious Creatures
Inspired by the ethereal canopy that graces the entrance of National Gallery Singapore, this collection translates architectural brilliance into wearable artistry. Drawing from the concave gold filigreed roof — an interplay of metal and glass that bathes the Gallery floor in dappled light — we reimagine its intricate geometry through finely crafted metalwork.
The collection celebrates the tension between shadow and shimmer. Echoing the roof’s delicate perforations, each piece channels the softness of filtered light and the strength of structural design. Woven forms reminiscent of rattan and cane — referenced by architect Jean-François Milou — become guiding motifs.
Just as light becomes the soul of the canopy, it threads its way through the jewelry, illuminating airy silhouettes that are both grounded and graceful. A tribute to light as architecture, light as texture — and light as adornment.
Designed by Curious Creatures, in celebration of the Gallery’s 10th anniversary.
A portion of the proceeds from this collection will be donated to National Gallery Singapore, in support of its mission to create dialogues between the art of Singapore, Southeast Asia, and the world.
Made with recycled 925 Sterling Silver, our demi-fine collection is hypoallergenic, free of lead, nickel and cadmium. Each piece is electroplated in 1-micron 18k Gold, Rose-gold or Rhodium and finished with an additional coating for longer lasting wear.
